Map & Getting here

From Santiago Airport to Valparasío

Other than a door to door transfer from the Airport to The Yellow House the following is the process for making your way here.

From the airport we suggest take a taxi to “Pajaritos” Bus Terminal. Be sure to establish the fare before you commit to a driver or take the Airport bus to “Pajaraitos” which costs CLP$3.000 per person.

At Pajaritos catch either a Pullman or Turbus bus to Valparaiso. This costs about CLP$4.000 each one way. They operate about every 15 or 20 minutes and the journey takes about 80 - 90 minutes.

They issue a receipt for your luggage which is carried underneath the bus. From Valparaíso Terminal catch a taxi to The Yellow House. Any bus that says ADUANA on the front will bring you heritage Customs Building which is located alongside “our” ascensor, “Ascensor Artillería.”

From there just follow the map below to our door. However, we suggest that it makes more sense to get here, leave the bags and then set about exploring the city. NB. Security is a very important issue in Valparaíso, especially at the bus terminal and on the local buses so take particlur care of your valuables there.

Crime involving tourists such as the snatching of cameras, bags and wallets is unfortunately not uncommon.
